All departments will contain a mix of brand new retail and consignment items. We source some amazing quality new clothing and décor items from some great supplier partners. Those will be tagged with a white or bar-coded sales tag. Consignment items will feature tags with a colored border.
While we don’t do tag sales on a set schedule, colored tags just help keep our inventory separated as consignment or store-owned. Keep an eye on the sales rack where we’ll periodically pull certain items to discount.
Men’s Wear
Our menswear department holds about 800 clothing items. Most of the inventory is geared towards the highest demand category of shirts. We also carry slacks, jeans, jackets, and shorts. Accessories, such as belts, hats, sunglasses, and wallets may be found in the Men’s department and also in the Accessories department.
Ladies Wear
Garnering the largest footprint in the store, our Ladies department can contain over 2,000 items. Clothing is merchandised in a way that is easy to view. We like to sprinkle in some shoes, handbags, and jewelry amongst the clothing, but otherwise you can find more of those in the Accessories department.
Kids
We carry kids sizes from newborn through juniors. You’ll find these displayed by size, and with tops separated from bottoms. This area holds around 3,000 pieces. In addition to clothes you will find like-new toys. If you’re like me, I’ve always hated wasting money on toys that I know my kids aren’t going to spend a lot of time playing with. But, I also didn’t want to buy them second-hand from a grungy toy bin. We strive to provide you with cost effective options of toys and books that still have plenty of life left to be loved.
Furniture
Our furniture department is around 900 square feet. We are selective in choosing items that you will love. We do occasionally bring in brand new items for this department as well. Looking for something in particular? Keep checking our website, Facebook, or Instagram as we add inventory. Please bring help to load, as we unfortunately do not offer this service. If you see something you love while you’re in the store, we’re happy to hold it for you after purchase in order for you to arrange pickup and transportation. We won’t be consigning heavy furniture items at first as we are limited on being able to move and load them.
Home Décor
Don’t you just love home goods? But, you don’t want that stuff that was in your grandmother’s kitchen in the 80’s, do you? I mean, some of that is starting to make a comeback, ha! However, we’re diligent in selecting items that are modern and up to date. Some of this is through the fantastic items our consignors bring in….. we love all of you who just get tired of looking at the same décor and decide to rotate it regularly! I also heavily supplement this department with brand new retail items. Wherever I can, I strive to buy ‘Made in the USA’. You’ll see these items sprinkled all over the shop. Many of our items in this department, as well as throughout the store, make wonderful gifts! We have a section stocked with gift bags and cards in the event you need to pop in and buy something for a birthday party, anniversary, or other special event.
Accessories
In addition to being mingled in with other departments in the store, we have an area that is stocked with handbags, jewelry, belts, scarves, and other bougie accessories.
Featured Categories
There are categories we just don’t have room to carry all year long. These are items that aren’t necessarily in demand on a regular basis, but when featured for a month it allows opportunity to consign these great items during a timeframe where our customers know to be on the lookout for them. These include things like sports apparel, prom dresses, Halloween costumes, etc. For a list of when to bring in and/or buy these items, please see the link.
Featured Artist
Oooooh, this is one of my favorite areas of the store! I love art, and I recognize that being an artist is most certainly a labor of love. Our Featured Artist/Artisan section of our store provides square footage for one local artist each month to display their items. They set up their handmade items and provide an opportunity for you to shop them outside of just the one day events like craft shows and fall festivals. Retail space is expensive, y’all. My hope is that this will serve as an opportunity for local artists to make more profit without all of the overhead, and for our customers to gain better access to these beautiful handmade items. If you are an artist interested in learning more, please complete this ‘Featured Artist Interest Form’. To be eligible, items must be completely hand made using mostly raw materials (i.e. no printed T-shirts, tumblers, etc. at this time).
